My family all settled in Pennsylvania when they came from various parts of Europe. I have not found any direct ancestors in any other places except Pa. I know that branches of most of my families migrated to other parts of the country but none included my direct ancestors. Most of my research has been done in Berks and Somerset Counties of Pa. Thanks to all on those rootsweb lists who have helped over the years.

When I began this web site, I imagined a few pages...well..it sure has grown. There are now over 100 pages and growing every chance I get. The response has been wonderful so I guess I'll keep on going but I need a little help from you. If you find that you are working on the same lines as me, please be sure to sign the guestbook for that surname. Each surname has it's own guestbook.

I have been shaking my family tree for almost forty years now and still have a lot of ground to cover. I try to concentrate on one branch at a time so I am pretty confident of my research. Right now I am working on my Belgian ancestors. I am always working heavily on the Braucher/Brougher name. I have a few "brick walls" for which I am always looking for clues. My research is thorough with documents to back up each step. I do not take this job lightly...our descendents will depend on it.
